Housemates given 'shocking' shopping task
Published Wednesday, Jun 11 2008, 20:11 BST | By Polly Taylor

They were finally given their challenge this afternoon, after spending most of the day complaining about their hunger.
As a result of winning the persistence task yesterday, Dennis and Rachel were asked to complete the "steady hand" task in an attempt to secure a luxury shopping budget of £5 per person, per day.
But in a twist, each failed attempt will result in the remaining housemates receiving shocks through muscle-stimulating suits.
Dennis and Rachel will have two hours to guide a wand down a metal track. In order to pass, they must get the wand from one end to the other without touching the track.
They can incur no more than three fails, which can be caused by mistakes including housemates removing their muscle-stimulating suit.
Alex said: "I'll take a few shocks if it means we get food. I don't think it will be painful. It will be more uncomfortable than anything else."
