Emotions run high after task failure

The mood quickly soured after the group failed its shopping task this evening, with some housemates crying and others blaming those who they thought didn't try hard enough.

Dennis was in floods of tears in the garden while Alexandra tried to comfort him.

She said he was "a star" and Steph told him: "It's only food, you made a mistake. It doesn't matter, honestly."

Dennis and Rachel then made up after he had told her "don't patronise me" when she tried to comfort him when they ran out of time.

He explained: "I need my space and I told you to leave me, but you just kept on."

Mohamed turned on Sylvia in the bedroom and asked her why she took her suit off.

"Have you not seen the show before?" he said. "Kat did it for longer than you and she was crying."

An angry Sylvia shouted back: "Okay then, in this task I was weak. What can I do? Some people are stronger than others in some things."

Rex had rowed with Alexandra about her decision to remove her suit, but declared: "I wasn't aggressive, I was just passionate about passing this task."
