Big Brother sparks 500 complaints

The broadcasting watchdog said 361 of its 505 complaints related to Monday's argument after Alexandra De-Gale criticised Rebecca Shiner for burning chips.
The boss of Britain's leading anti-bullying charity accused Channel 4 of being irresponsible for showing the incident.
Bullying UK director Liz Carnell said: "I'm sure Channel 4 is delighted with the controversy [this has] caused but it's sending out a message to young people who see what is clearly bullying.
"The aggression shown is unacceptable. Young people are going to be watching and expecting that they can get away with that sort of thing. Channel 4 should take action."
Producers were seen warning Alexandra about her behaviour on Tuesday's highlights show, but Ofcom continued to receive complaints.
A Big Brother spokesman said: "Alex is getting on with her fellow housemates and the atmosphere in the house has been calm, but as ever BB is closely monitoring the housemates and house activity."
Ofcom and Channel 4 received more than 45,000 complaints last year over the alleged racist bullying of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
