Big Brother: Are these the new housemates? - video

When the news broke that Channel 4 was to axe Big Brother, thousands thought that they'd missed their chance at fame and glory by featuring on the reality show.

As we all know, the panic was short-lived. Channel 5 stepped up to the plate, and all the weird and wonderful people of Britain have been given the chance to apply.

Anxious to have the first peek at who might be on our screens, Digital Spy got ourselves down to the auditions and had a chat with some hopefuls who applied to be on this year's show.

We didn't have much luck picking out the eventual housemates last year, but watch our video below and let us know if you think any of this batch have a chance.



This year's Big Brother will last for a whopping 63 days, and we've already given you 14 teasers as to who will be in there.

Pamela Anderson was last night unveiled as a surprise guest joining the lucky 14 as they start life in the Big Brother house.
