Early Doors

It?s still early days and it?s been difficult to spot where alliances and strategies may be formed. One interesting facet is that not all of the housemates are as au fait with Big Brother as contestants would be from the normal show, which is lending a certain freshness to proceedings.
Early impressions:
John
Big Mac is living up to expectations with his strong and controversial views. The joy of this is that all of the women who will be the target of his diatribes are strong and not backwards in coming forwards. He?ll get as good as he gives.
I?d imagine that the minor spats we?ve seen so far will be nothing compared to what may come when they are feeling frazzled after a few days in there. John must be kept in, at least until we?ve seen one major kick off.
Germaine
John may be convinced that he?s right and everyone else is wrong about everything. This is a trait he shares with Germaine and while I find his pomposity almost endearing in a weird kind of way, she just gets my goat for some reason.
Maybe it?s just the Aussie accent but she keeps putting me in mind of Barry Humphries.
Caprice
I really haven?t made my mind up about Caprice as yet. I suppose I?m looking for hidden depths but I?ve yet to spot much evidence of that. Even in her set to with Big Mac there were no real signs of anything beyond the superficial.
Bez
He reminds me of Chorlton the Happiness Dragon. He?s coming across as a top bloke and far more likeable than I?d anticipated.
Lisa
So far, I think we?ve only seen a hint of what Lisa is going to be like. Straight talking and not the most diplomatic person in the world, I?d expect her to be at the centre of things when a major row breaks out. The question must be what this will do to her popularity with public.
One interesting facet is that many of the younger people I?ve spoken to had never heard of her but all knew who John was.
Jeremy
Some actors just aren?t interesting unless they?ve got a script.
Kenzie
Separated from his ?Boys? and the youngest member of the group, Kenzie is doing rather well so far, certainly displaying more maturity than some of the aging big kids he?s been incarcerated with.
Who knows, if his pop fan base back him and he pull the granny vote too, he may have a chance of winning this.
Brigitte
Compared to her antics in The Surreal Life, she has been very restrained. Don?t expect that to last.
