Best Of CBB: Girls swoon over Dirk's attractiveness

Dirk Benedict looked like he would steal the show on Celebrity Big Brother 5 after he turned up in the A-Team van on the opening night. Sadly, the aging actor was overshadowed by the Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty scandal, but for a brief period, his good looks and charms had the female contestants swooning.

The girls had a collective swoon over Dirk this afternoon, agreeing that he was the epitome of an ideal man.

Carole was the most vocal in her praise of Dirk, explaining that he has "all the right things: he'll never cheat on you, the morals are in the right place - and he cooks".

Jo, meanwhile, simply listed adjectives: "Loyal and loving, truthful and faithful."

Shilpa, 31, went so far as to say that she would go for Dirk, 61, were he not so old. "Maybe if he was younger," she mused, "I would have given it a shot."
