The 25-year-old was advised by fellow reality TV stars Nicola McLean and Chanelle Hayes to start a lesbian romance inside the house, according to the Daily Star.
"I'm in it to win it," she said. "I want to make this a show to remember. I'll be up for anything... even a bit of girl-on-girl fun."
A source added: "Lucy has been getting really nervous about her appearance and asked a few people for some tips on what to do to win over fans.
"They told her that the best way to make a big impact is indulge in a little bit of harmless lesbian loving. She's come up with a game plan to be as shocking and outrageous as possible. She's also got a beautiful body and plans to put as much of it on display as often as possible."
Pinder is expected to be joined in the house by Ulrika Jonsson, Mutya Buena and Michelle Heaton.
