East 17 star 'on CBB standby'

Tabloid reports have said that ex-East 17 singer Tony Mortimer is on standby for Celebrity Big Brother.

Mortimer, 38, will reportedly enter the house if a celebrity pulls out or is kicked off the show.

"Tony's really excited, he really wants someone to walk so he can go in," a source told The Sun.

"He's been out of the limelight for a while and he wants a comeback."

The full Celebrity Big Brother lineup is rumoured to include Verne Troyer, Steve Strange, Coolio, Ben Adams, Lucy Pinder and Michelle Heaton.

Expected to round off the list of contestants are Tommy Sheridan, Terry Christian, Mutya Buena, Ulrika Jonsson, Tina Malone and La Toya Jackson.
