CBB stars see album sales increase

The former Sugababe, who released her solo record Real Girl in June 2007, has seen LP sales rocket by 107%
Sales of La Toya Jackson's Sexual Feeling LP have increased by 8%, whilst Coolio's 1995 single 'Gangsta's Paradise' looks likely to re-enter the UK Top 40 this Sunday.
"The early increase in sales goes to prove the power of Celebrity Big Brother and the impact that it can have on buying habits, even during a time when people are watching their pennies,” said Helen Marquis of Play.com.
"If the figures are anything to go by, then it looks like we could have a surprise winner in Mutya of this year’s show!"
Despite some contestants seeing album sales increase, demand for Liberty X records has remained unchanged. Meanwhile, fans of boyband A1 have resorted to buying second-hand copies of their A List album as it is no longer available.
