Verne: 'Little people envy me'

Verne has said that he thinks other little people in the entertainment industry are jealous of him.

In conversation with Tommy and La Toya, he revealed that his rise to fame has provoked envy and duplicity from fellow dwarves trying to make it big.

La Toya questioned whether Verne ever attended ‘little people conventions’, to which he replied: “No, because it gets a little crazy.”

Tommy then asked whether he has experienced any jealousy in the community, prompting Verne to reply: “Oh yeah, big time. A lot of little people in the business are very jealous of me. I mean, they’re nice to your face, but they talk behind your back.”
