3.1m turn out for Malone's BB eviction

The latest update show, which included the eviction result, was seen by an average of 3.08m (12.8%) in the 9pm hour and a further 180k (1%) on Channel 4+1. The later post-eviction interview show pulled in 2.11m (12.6%), with a +1 audience of 147k (1.7%).
ITV1 won the 9pm hour on Friday with Trial & Retribution, which averaged a respectable 5.15m (21.3%). The audience was down, however, by around 700k on last week's impressive debut.
Five's US drama NCIS also put up a decent fight against BB, averaging 2.47m (10.2%) for the hour, an improvement of 100k on last week.
On BBC One, QI amused 4.48m (18.3%) until 9.30pm, then the audience dropped off to 3.13m (13.1%) for a repeat of The Vicar Of Dibley. BBC Two tempted 1.3m (5.4%) with Around The World In 80 Faiths.
Channel 4's new comedy Plus One logged 1.56m (7.7%) at 10pm, a fall of around 400k on last week's debut. At the same time, a Never Mind The Buzzcocks clip show delivered 1.34m (6.6%) to BBC Two. Five's Numb3rs put in 1.16m (6%) for the hour.
Coronation Street polled the day's best numbers, with 9.42m (41.5%) tuning in at 7.30pm and 9.23m (38%) returning an hour later. EastEnders had 8.95m (38.3%) for BBC One and 664k (3.5%) for BBC Three, while Emmerdale took 7.43m (35.3%).
On Five, Neighbours had 1.59m (9.6%) and Home & Away had 951k (5%). Hollyoaks averaged 1.55m (7.6%) for Channel 4 and 476k (2.5%) for E4.
BBC Two's Natural World - this week profiling unusual creatures living in India's Western Ghats mountains - had 2.12m (8.9%) in the 8pm hour. It beat the final episode of A Place In The Sun: Down Under, which took 1.51m (6.3%) for Channel 4, as well as Five's Police Interceptors, which managed 946k (4%).
ITV1 was first in primetime overall but fell 1.5 points to an average share of 24.6%. BBC One climbed from 18.7% to 20.8%, while Channel 4 dropped one point to 8.2% for third. BBC Two lost half a point to average 6.5% and Five rounded out the night with a solid 5.4%.
American Idol was the biggest multichannel performer, delivering 678k (3.4%) to ITV2 over two hours from 9pm. A further 99k (0.7%) watched on ITV2+1.
The final night of Living's Most Haunted Live: The Search For Evil averaged a heavenly 464k (2.6%) between 8pm and midnight.
