The Daily Star claims that the former EastEnders actress is on a last-minute list of possible celebrity contestants.
Kinsella, whose brother Ben died in 2008 after being stabbed, is said to be considering joining the programme to raise awareness of knife crime.
A source said: "She would consider it because it helps get her message out there."
Dane Bowers, Ivana Trump and MC Hammer have also been linked to the series, which begins on January 3.
