3.4 million watch Trump enter house

An earlier highlights show - broadcast on Channel 4 in the 9pm hour - drew an encouraging 2.96m (10.3%), with a further 420k (1.8%) watching on timeshift.
BBC One narrowly won the 9pm hour on Friday, taking 6.56m (22.7%) for Silent Witness. On ITV1, a special Dancing On Ice preview show pulled in 6.34m (22%).
BBC Two's History Of Now - The History Of The Noughties notched up 1.31m (4.5%) while on Five, a screening of Murder At 1600 appealed to 1.15m (4.5%).
Earlier, River Cottage Spring Collection had 1.38m (4.9%) for Channel 4 in the 8pm hour, beating Five's Knight Rider, with just 494k (1.7%).
Mastermind claimed 2.43m (8.7%) for BBC Two in the first half of the hour, then the audience dropped to 1.96m (6.8%) for An Island Parish.
ITV1's Countrywise put in 3.97m (14.2%) between 8pm and 8.30pm, then on BBC One, QI appealed to 5.22m (18.2%).
Overall, ITV1 triumphed in primetime with an average share of 24.7% to BBC One's 22.8%. Channel 4 was third with 8% (+1: 0.9%), followed by BBC Two with 5.5% and Five with 3%.
The most-watched multichannel programme of the day was BBC Three's screening of War Of The Worlds, with 787k (2.8%) from 8.20pm.
