Davina McCall: 'CBB has got legs'

Davina McCall has backed calls for Celebrity Big Brother to continue after this year's series.

Channel 4 confirmed last year that the current celebrity show and upcoming summer run would be the final series with the broadcaster.

Speaking about the programme's future, McCall told This Morning: "I think Celebrity Big Brother has got legs and I think it would sit comfortably on another channel and do quite well.

"But I don't know whether that would be in a couple of years or... who knows what will happen?"

Yesterday, the show's host revealed that she would consider moving to another channel if they purchased the rights to the Big Brother format.

Celebrities including John McCririck, Dragons' Den star Peter Jones and Jonathan Ross have all voiced support for the celebrity version of the reality show in recent weeks.
