The famous inmates were transformed into characters from the classic fantasy tale yesterday and set a series of tasks relating to their new alter egos.
Big Brother tonight gathered the group in the living room to reveal the outcome of the task, first confirming that Darryn Lyons - aka the Tin Man - had proven himself to have a heart and Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff - the Cowardly Lion - had shown her courage.
As Lyons was awarded his 'heart' to a round of applause, Bobby Sabel sniped: "Now you've given him a spare and he can be an arse again."
Big Brother then revealed that Amy Childs - the Scarecrow - had proven herself to have a brain and Lucien Laviscount, who became the Wicked Witch, had succeeded in avoiding water at all costs and drinking a witches' brew.
However, it was announced that Toto (Paddy Doherty) and the Munchkins (Jedward) had failed their part of the task, which required them to react to the sound of the witch's cackle. The Dorothys - this week's nominees Sabel, Kerry Katona and Sally Bercow - failed to stand guard on the Yellow Brick Road for the course of the challenge, as Katona left to have a cigarette shortly after the test began.
However, Big Brother confirmed that as housemates had met four of the six requirements, they had passed the overall task and would be awarded a luxury shopping budget this week.
"Yay! More hairspray! More hair gel!" an overjoyed Jedward exclaimed.
