Housemates this afternoon voted for the first time ahead of a secret eviction on Wednesday and another regular Friday night elimination.
Although most of the Elstree compound's inmates accepted the nominations procedure as an unavoidable part of their experience, Laviscount declared to Paddy Doherty immediately after his turn that he "didn't like" having to betray his friends.
"Listen, it's only a game no matter what happens," the Gypsy Wedding star responded. "We're all going to go sooner or later, no matter who you are or what you are, so stop."
Despite Doherty's words of encouragement, Laviscount still appeared to be upset with his votes later in the Big Brother bedroom, prompting Katona to remind him of the opportunity to be "honest" that comes with the process.
"Listen to me, you've got to do it for you and nobody else and not let anybody else influence you in any way whatsoever," she said of the nomination procedure.
"The more honest you are, the better you'll feel coming out of here. Obviously it is a game, so to speak, but I'm just going on my judgement of how people make me feel.
"[My votes are] completely [based on] what I feel uncomfortable with or what I think's not right and that is my choice, no-one else's."
His spirits lifted, Laviscount walked out of the bedroom hand-in-hand with Katona and even managed to joke: "We would look good together, wouldn't we?"
