Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has chosen four contestants to be immune from the next Celebrity Big Brother public vote.

Presenter Brian Dowling asked David Hasselhoff's ex-wife to make the decision following her eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The actress selected Jedward, Paddy Doherty, Amy Childs and Kerry Katona to be spared from Friday's eviction.

Tara Reid, Lucien Laviscount, Bobby Sabel and Darryn Lyons will now be up for the public vote.

For her first selection, Bach-Hasselhoff said: "One thousand percent would be John and Edward."

Next she chose Doherty, then her "sexy sister Amy". Her final choice was Katona. "Mummy to mummy - Kerry," she said.

The crowd cheered Katona's name loudly while Bach-Hasselhoff was making her choices.

Dowling told Emma Willis on Big Brother's Bit on the Side that it was "a brilliant twist" that he didn't think had been done before on the show.

Dowling admitted that he was concerned that Bach-Hasselhoff would be too slow or refuse to select who would receive immunity.

He also said that he thought it would be difficult to avoid being influenced by the shouts of the crowd in such a situation.
