Celebrity Big Brother star Andrew Stone has claimed that Simon Cowell became furious when he discovered X Factor producers turned him down at an audition.
The Pineapple Dance Studios performer said Cowell was devastated to lose him from a previous series of the show, apparently considering him to be "TV gold".

"Simon wasn't aware that I had auditioned for The X Factor many years ago," he said during a Daybreak appearance this week.
"It was about seven or eight years ago - and when he found out that I had auditioned for it and had obviously slipped through the net, he wasn't too pleased. He did say, 'that guy is TV gold' - which is a massive compliment."
Stone said several times during his Celebrity Big Brother stint that he would like to become a judge on The X Factor.
The singer and choreographer was the first to be evicted from the show on Wednesday (January 11) after losing a public vote to fellow nominee Georgia Salpa.
