The Irish model, who has drifted from the ex-TOWIE star in the last week, aired her frustrations to the Loose Women panellist.
She insisted: "Kirk has an ego - he's really nice and really sweet and really lovely. I don't want it to be like this where he won't speak to me.

"I don't know what happened in the past. I didn't tell him I didn't like him.
"Something's going on where he suddenly just went from being really nice to a d**k who won't talk to me."
Referring to her house enemy Michael Madsen, Welch advised: "You know, if you think it's not going to get better... he's not a Michael. He's a cheeky chappy and you know he is, not a nasty character."
However, Salpa retorted: "This is not a Michael situation, because [after the nomination] he won't even speak to me. Last time he did."
Ex-Waterloo Road star Welch concluded: "But, because I want everybody to be friends - and that's not going to happen with me and Michael - I want you and Kirk to be friends."
