Celebrity Big Brother: Double eviction on Friday

Celebrity Big Brother is planning a double eviction for this Friday's live show (January 20).

Georgia Salpa became the third housemate evicted from the Channel 5 reality series last night and following her departure, the contestants were forced to complete face-to-face nominations.

All the housemates picked up nominations apart from Gareth Thomas during the voting session, so eight contestants will be up for the public vote on Friday night.

Welsh rugby star Thomas is now the bookmakers' favourite to win.

Two housemates - from Denise Welch, the Shannon twins, Frankie Cocozza, Natalie Cassidy, Kirk Norcross, Nicola McLean, Romeo Dunn and Michael Madsen - will be voted off the show in an extended live episode hosted by Brian Dowling.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight (January 19) on Channel 5.
