Big Brother: Frankie Cocozza new bookies' favourite after pantsgate

Frankie Cocozza has become the new Celebrity Big Brother bookmakers' favourite following the airing of 'pantsgate' on last night's highlights show.

Denise Welch, Nicola McLean and the Shannon twins were involved in a huge bust-up in the Big Brother house on Sunday night after Denise Welch pulled down Karissa Shannon's pyjama bottoms.

The incident and consequent fall-out dominated last night's episode and viewers appear to have warmed to the X Factor singer, who was dragged into the row.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have ranked Cocozza as the 11/8 favourite, overtaking Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas at 13/8. A Labrokes rep said: "Frankie's finally struck a chord with punters. It looks like Gareth and his nice guy act might fall at the last hurdle."

McLean and the Shannon twins appear to have come out the worst in the pantsgate furore and are the favourites to be evicted on Wednesday night (January 24).

Celebrity Big Brother's final airs on Friday (January 27) on Channel 5.
