Big Brother: Michelle Heaton empathises with Denise, Nicola tears

Michelle Heaton has empathised with Celebrity Big Brother housemates Denise Welch and Nicola McLean over their emotional outbursts on the show.

The pair were seen breaking down in tears during an argument dubbed 'Pantsgate' earlier this week - bringing back memories for Heaton of her own turbulent stint in the 2009 series.

"Just catching up on big bro!" she wrote on Twitter. "I remember the crap I got in the press for cryin all the time, now the strongest of people [are]...breaking down just as much.

"Big bro does that to you! It doesn't mean your a cry baby, it means big bro fooked with you!"



Welch has managed to clear the air with McLean following their bitter fall-out, though Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon said that "an apology isn't enough" to correct their own issues with the Loose Women star.

It was reported this weekend that Welch's loved ones are concerned with how she is coping in the house.

Celebrity Big Brother airs a double eviction episode tonight (January 25) at 9pm on Channel 5.
