Managing to beat Coleen Nolan into second place, he asked the departing housemate to request that Big Brother cancel his fireworks as he doesn't like them.
In his interview with Brian Dowling, the comedian told his supporters that they had "made a 53-year-old homosexual very happy".
He went on to say that winning the show had touched him more than he had expected, describing himself as an "emotional wreck".
Shown footage of him and Julie Goodyear together, he called her "so fabulous", and also marvelled at the fact that his hands had been in Coleen Nolan's bra.
He went on to explain that he had enjoyed Julie "stir[ring] things up", telling her: "I love you for it."
Asked whether he had felt pressure to perform as a comedian, Julian said he hadn't, commenting that he was "not very sociable" and apologising for not being constantly 'on'.
The winner finished by saying that his victory had been a "shot in the arm" and that he was "absolutely amazed".
