Sam had been nominated face-to-face by six of his housemates, with most of them citing his lack of action and frequent naps as their reasons.
The announcement was anticipated by the crowd chanting: "Get Sam out!"

On hearing the news, the celebrities hugged the evictee, with Neil 'Razor' Ruddock planting a congratulatory kiss on Ryan's cheek.
Sam then left to a mixture of boos and cheers.
