The couple, who finished second to Rylan Clark in last month's final, will appear in one-hour special The Speidi Story, which will document their time on US reality show The Hills and their stint in the Big Brother house.
Virgin Media quotes a spokesman for the show as saying: ''Speidi have gone from being America's most loathed couple to a new UK phenomenon, thanks to Celeb Big Brother. This is their story.''
Some 15 security guards were reportedly on hand to protect the couple as they appeared at a meet and greet with fans in London this morning (February 2).
They previously tweeted: ''Come and meet the King and Queen of Reality TV. See you there... To all the lovers and haters in Britain, come and see the real Speidi before we head back to the USA.
''We've been reading all yours Tweets about us. So now come and tell us in the flesh. Ha ha ha!''
Heidi and Spencer recently urged Ofcom not to continue with an official investigation into their behaviour in the house, telling the media regulator to "put on your big girl knickers and stop whining".
They wrote in an open letter to the Daily Star: "What would Star Wars be if there were no Empire to defeat? Villains are essential to our culture, both our art and our real lives. We don't condone violence and we don't condone bullying. We do, however, get paid to be on television."
The Speidi Story will air later this month on Channel 5.
