Desert Island Dreaming

Published Wednesday, Mar 14 2001, 04:42 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Music became a bit of a theme after the group's performance earlier in the day.

Claire started to daydream about her choice of 'desert island discs' and told her housemates that she would have to take: "'What's goin' on', Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley - 'Exodus' and George Michael's 'Jesus to a Child'" among others.

"What luxury would you take to your desert island?" Jack asked her. "Sun cream," Claire replied wisely.

Keith volunteered some of his favourite records: "Michael Jackson - 'Black and White', 'True Colours' - Cyndi Lauper, 'With or Without You' - U2. And for a luxury item I'd have a jet-ski, or a biography of Jim Morrison."

It was then Jack's turn to reveal his chosen music necessity. "I'd go for 'Downtown' - Petula Clarke, 'Get Back' - The Beatles, 'Rocking in the free World' - Neil Young and 'Fourth Street' - Bob Dylan. My book would be an anthology of Bob Dylan's music and for my luxury - a guitar."

While the Big Brother house may feel like a desert island to the remaining four celebrities, at least they've had the chance to make their own music.

Celebrity Big Brother is a Bazal Production for Channel 4, Comic Relief and the BBC.
