Esther Rantzen could be in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 62-year-old veteran broadcaster has been approached by Endemol, the company which makes the show for C4, and is considering the offer.
"She's had the letter but she's away on a cruise at the moment, and she will consider it on her return," said Jan Kennedy, Rantzen's agent.
Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Irish funnyman Graham Norton has denied that he has been approached, as the company knows he wouldn't do it.
Ex-EastEnder Michael Greco is also out of the running -- he made a pact with Radio 1 DJ come TV presenter Chris Moyles not to go into the house.
