Melinda on "bully" Goldie

Melinda has admitted she was "physically afraid" of Goldie whilst in the house.
"Goldie was very subtle and clever about his bullying," she said in an interview with the News of the World. "I felt like I was getting a series of punches from him, but couldn't tell what direction they were coming from.
"I was actually physically afraid of him at one point. We were play-fighting by the pool. He pushed me and that was a joke, but then I tried to push him and he physically threw me. It did hurt. He did frighten me at that point. I was looking at him thinking, 'He's a big strong man and he doesn't like me. I'm only 5'2". I will fight for myself, I'm not afraid to do that, but what chance do I stand?'
"He was looking at me after that saying 'I'm gonna wipe that smile off your face'. He was saying he wanted to rip my head off, wanted to slice the tendons in my neck. This wasn't funny any more."
"I really didn't want to cry on live TV. But Goldie reduced me to tears because of his bullying. I told everyone I was going for a nap, then just hid under the covers and started to cry. I did it as quietly as possible so the cameras wouldn't spot me.
"I felt so lonely and isolated. I felt Goldie was targeting me. I missed home and felt I wasn't having a laugh any more. I thought, ?Well if it carries on this way, if I really have had enough, then just go home.'
"I thought, ?Oh, don't be stupid. It'll all be over soon. I don't have to live here. I'm going home soon.' I said to Goldie, ?You are bullying me. Is that because I threaten you?' It sounds ridiculous, a tiny blonde woman saying that to a giant of a man?but it's true.
"I think Goldie bullied me because he was determined to win. Sue told me he'd tried to talk her into voting tactically?told her they should vote out the strongest people, the favourites. And he'd say to me the whole time that I was a favourite. I think his bullying was a way of breaking me down.
"I couldn't believe his remarks when he came out of the house. Calling me a ?white monkey' and ?super ugly' is just vicious."
