CBB3 makes international headlines

Bringing in internationally known celebrities such as Brigitte Neilson, Germaine Greer and Jackie Stallone has made the UK celebrity version of Big Brother hit the headlines as far away as America, South Africa and Australia.

The Washington Post reported Germaine Greer's departure from the house and her press conference where she called the reality shows' producers "completely irresponsible" for introducing Jackie Stallone, and described the house as a "facist prison".

The South African website iafrica.com reports Jackie's entrance to the house, which it says is on the brink of "mutiny". It also states that the Big Brother producers have "privately admitted Stallone's shock arrival was a mistake".

Meanwhile in Greer's home, Australia, The Daily Telegraph appears confused as to where Germaine's appearence fee was heading - to her own rainforest project or to the British charity Buglife. It remains critical, calling her complaints of bullying "psychobabble" and mis-quoting her as having told fellow contestants that she feared her mother would be brought into the house as a reason for her quitting.
