The fantasy band would be fronted by Bono and feature Jimi Hendrix on guitar, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass, Chris Martin on keyboards and the late Keith Moon on drums.
John Sugar, programme editor of 6 Music, said Bez - real name Mark Berry - won his place when listeners were asked to vote for someone to fill a spare place in the group."Bez was a remarkable choice for inclusion but the 6 Music listeners have spoken," he said.
