There are a couple of surprises in amongst the usual dose of models you'd never heard of, American stars who have probably never heard of Big Brother, and talent from yesteryear desperate for some kind of comeback.
While the celebs get used to their new surroundings, here follows a quick guide to your new friends for the next couple of weeks.
Say it with me now. 'Whooooo?' Here's your token glamour model that you're totally forgiven for never having heard of, unless you're a regular reader of Nuts or Zoo magazine.
Apparently, according to the Channel 5 press release, Casey is "most known for her 34GGs". Most likely in there to help sell copies of the Daily Star, who knows - she may end up surprising everyone and be the best-loved Celebrity Big Brother housemate of all time. Or she'll be evicted first.
Na na niiiii. The N-Dubz rapper and modern day Brian Harvey seemed to be riding relatively sky high not that long ago. He reached number one in the charts with No Regrets in 2011, and who could forget his modern classic 'Rockstar' with Brian May? Sadly for Dappy, things have gone a little bit downhill since then, getting into a spot of bother with the law, and, more recently, a horse.
Dappy will be hoping for a popularity increase for a potential comeback - be it solo or with N-Dubz - in 2014. We may also see a rise in sales of woolly chullo hats.
If it wasn't for his name being rumoured for a few weeks, you may never have seen this one coming. Evander Holyfield may be best known for losing a chunk of his ear thanks to Mike Tyson back in 1997, but 'The Real Deal' was also one of the world's greatest ever boxers during his career, becoming undisputed World Champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight disciplines.
Evander is supposed to have made around $230 million (£170 million) during his boxing career, so surely it can't be money that has found him in the house (like other American stars in the past). Maybe he's just bored.
This may be another 'whoooo?', but Miss Waltz is kind of a celebrity, in the world of being famous for dating other celebrities. She has previously bunked with Ryan Seacrest, Jesse McCartney, Chris Pine and David Arquette (who revealed during a radio interview that his fling with the former cocktail waitress made him "feel pretty manly". Charming.)
Jasmine is probably best known for allegedly punching Lindsay Lohan - over Danny Cipriani, of all people. She's also an actress, by the way, appearing in Rules of Engagement among other bits and pieces.
After several years of almost entering the house, the controversial comedian is finally inside Big Brother's famous walls. He may not be many people's cup of tea, but Davidson has a big fanbase, and is potentially perfect Celebrity Big Brother material.
The stand-up comic has battled alcoholism, bankruptcy and four marriages in the past, but now, he must deal with nominations and silly tasks. He also famously upset former Big Brother winner and host Brian Dowling with homophobic remarks on Hell's Kitchen in 2007.
Perhaps best known for his gameshows The Generation Game and Big Break, could Jim have a surprise comeback in the mainstream after this?
Now that their time on The Big Reunion is over, Blue need another dose of TV promotion in the hopes that they can possibly rival The Wanted and One Direction in the boyband world. While the group may not be as big as they once were, they still have a loyal following.
Lee may also be hoping for a potential solo career comeback, and in this writer's opinion, his version of Foo Fighters' 'Best of You' is an underrated gem. Lee is also known for his sometimes risky and foolish comments, so a discussion between him and Jim Davidson could be quite spectacular.
One of the four original Nolans, who scored several hits in the 1970s and 1980s, in particular their disco classic 'I'm in the Mood for Dancing'. Linda was known as the 'Naughty Nolan' back in the day for several risqué photoshoots, and has since enjoyed a successful career on stage in various musicals including Blood Brothers.
Sister Coleen Nolan took part in the tenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, finishing second. Can Linda do one better?
Now, this was a pleasant surprise. In all the rumours and whispers, Mr Blair never got a mention. Perhaps best known as a regular panellist on Give Us a Clue, Lionel Blair has entertained the nation for several decades as a dancer, singer, actor, presenter and pretty much everything else.
The crazy post-modern thing to note here though, is that Lionel sort-of took part in Big Brother already, featuring in a fictional version in Ricky Gervais's Extras. If only Lisa Scott-Lee and Chico had joined him this time...
Eek. The former Marie Claire editor and current columnist for the Daily Mail is bound to cause some kind of mischief. Thinking about it now, it's probably good that Katie Hopkins isn't there after all.
Liz has managed to upset pretty much everyone at some point from Phillip Schofield to Rihanna during her journalistic career, so it will be interesting to see if her real-life personality matches her media one.
The first of several cases of reality TV eating itself once more by including a star known for another reality show - Luisa found fame last year as the eventual runner-up in The Apprentice. Her good looks and ability to ruffle a few feathers have managed to keep her in the tabloids much longer than the average Apprentice candidate.
Another TV show appearance may be exactly what Luisa needs to improve the fortunes of her baking company, among other things.
Reality TV star #2 hails from Made in Chelsea. If you're a fan of the E4 show, you've probably missed professional partier Ollie during the latest run - he departed the show after series five.
Potentially one of the nicest people in the house this year, it will be interesting to see him either cosying up to one of the girls or chinwagging with Lionel Blair. His own show is crying out to be made, so maybe this will be his platform.
And reality TV star #3 is here. The worlds of Chelsea and Essex will collide with Sam Faiers's appearance.
The TOWIE star has had to endure watching her ex Joey Essex get close to Amy Willerton in I'm a Celebrity, and - if she wants to - Sam now has the opportunity to get her own back with one of the eligible bachelors inside the house.
