George not of the jungle

George has revealed that he turned down a number of offers to appear on celeb reality shows before entering the house.
The politician had been asked to appear on Five's The Farm and ITV's I'm A Celebrity but shunned both. Referring to the latter, he told Rula: "I think there are levels of indignity on that that are beyond me."
"This is genuinely psychological, although the tasks are not as abhorrent, but there's a much more searching possibility," agreed Rula, who also turned down I'm A Celebrity.
"There's more of a possiblility for group dynamics here," added George. "It's kind of no accident that this is the only one that I've really watched."
