Chantelle wins right to stay in house
Published Sunday, Jan 8 2006, 22:10 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

Since entering the house, Chantelle has had to pretend to be a singer with the fictional band 'Kandy Floss' to convince her fellow housemates that she is famous.
To test if she had managed to pull it off, Big Brother asked the group to rank themselves in order of fame.
The final ordering: Michael, Dennis, Pete, George, Traci, Rula, Jodie, Faria, Chantelle, Preston and Maggot.
As she was not ranked last, Chantelle succeeded and was called to the diary room to learn that she could stay.
Unbeknownst to her, Big Brother was broadcasting footage the diary room to the rest of the group on the living room plasma screen.
"I fucking said, didn't I?" exclaimed Preston when he learnt the twist. "I've been saying it since day one!"
Chantelle, meanwhile, was overjoyed to be staying but concerned how the others would react. "If they are watching this right now, which I think they might be, I hope they understand how much pressure I've had put on me. Like I said, I was a nobody, I hope all the people think back to the time they was a nobody and think of the chance I was given."
The group have been thrown a celebrity inauguration party to celebrate the occasion.
