Rula, Pete reflect on "trauma" of house
Published Wednesday, Jan 18 2006, 09:33 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Rula and Pete have discussed how traumatic everyday, simple tasks have become in the house.
The pair have become increasingly disconnected from one another in recent days but found common ground last night to enjoy a lengthy conversation about their incarceration.
"When this is all over, none of us will be able to convey what it's like in here," Pete predicted. "It's much more than rations.. it's every step that you take. Trivial little things."
"I've always been so .. scathing is too strong a word.. but disapproviong of this programme because I thought it was lighthearted, silly, a gameshow," Rula admitted. "It's much much more than that. This is a really hard lesson and it's not something I'll forget in a hurry."
"Basic things like going to the toilet are traumatic," Pete pointed out, with Rula agreeing: "If you've got wind, you can't go anywhere to hide it."
