Big Brother producer Endemol is developing new TV projects for Michael following his successful appearance on the show.
The presenter has been absent from UK screens since being dropped by ITV four years ago.
Endemol chairman Peter Bazalgette told The Telegraph: "If I can find a way of getting him there then I will. In fact the company is actively thinking of ideas for programmes for Michael."
He added: "I don't know yet if Michael on television will be acceptable to the public, but it is acceptable to me."
