Housemates complain about cold night
Published Saturday, Jan 6 2007, 11:01 GMT | By Daniel Saney
Moaning about the temperature has been rife in both the main house and the servants' quarters this morning following a cold night.
Although the servants thought they might be treated to a good night's sleep once deprived of Ken's snoring, the low temperature scuppered their plans.
Ian and Carole were optimistic about their new quarters, the latter telling Cleo that she had "stayed in worse". However, Leo, Jo and Danielle were less happy. Leo was unimpressed with the nightshirt provided and complained of a returning headache.
Meanwhile, Jo said that she was aching all over because of the air conditioning and an "absolutely freezing" Danielle assured her peers: "I'm not a drama queen - I'm just ill."
However, the more privileged side of the house was not without its own share of the chills, as Jackiey complained of the bedclothes provided. "They're really thin," she noted.
