Housemates form tribute bands for task

Ian and Jermaine are leading Steps and Jackson 5 tribute bands as part of a new task.

The pair were called to the diary room at around 12:30pm today to collect the instructions:

"Housemates, for today's task, Ian and Jermaine must form Steps and Jackson 5 tribute bands. Ian is the band leader of the Steps tribute band and Jermaine is band leader of the Jackson 5 band. Ian and Jermaine must recruit housemates of their choice to form their rival bands."

Both bands will be given a song and a dance routine which they will perform later today after four practice rounds. Big Brother has provided the housemates with lyrics and diagrams of four dance moves that must be performed during their performances in the Big Brother Battle of the Tribute Bands final.

The Steps tribute band will be composed of Ian, Jo, Jade and Jack and will perform "Deeper Shade of Blue", while Jermaine will lead Cleo, Dirk, Danielle and Shilpa in a Jackson 5 tribute to "I Want You Back" from 1969.
