Dirk hoped Boris Johnson would be in house

The group was recalling rumours about who was booked in the run-up to the show. The actor commented: "I didn't know until the last minute - I wasn't booked," while Ian recalled: "It was in the newspaper as soon as I agreed, and I didn't tell anybody."
Dirk said he had hoped rumours of the high-profile politician, infamous for his affairs and gaffes, were true. "He is very funny - I've heard him speak," he explained. "I thought he'd be great."
The rest of the group - including Brits Jo and Ian - were unmoved, however, not having heard of Johnson. Disappointed, Dirk inquired: "You guys don't follow politics?"
