Jade denied access to India?

Jade Goody's application for an Indian visa has reportedly been declined by the country's High Commission.

According to The Sun, Goody, 25, applied for the visa on Monday with the intention of heading to the sub-continent next week in order to apologise for her racist remarks.

Ordinarily, the time it takes for a visa application to clear is roughly 24 hours, but Goody has yet to receive her passport back.

Her representatives apparently remain in talks with the Indian High Commission, who are still undecided as to whether the celebrity will be allowed into the country.

A source at the High Commission said, "We want people at the very highest level to decide whether we want her to visit."
