Report: Shilpa was called "P**i"

A report has claimed Shilpa was labelled a "P**i" on Celebrity Big Brother - and that producers are covering it up.

The show - and contestants Jade, Danielle and Jo - have come under attack over what was interpreted by some as racist bullying of the Bollywood star.

Now The Sun has reported the existence of a note which suggests there is footage of housemates calling her a ?f***ing P**i?. The newspaper claims the slur was part of a song chanted by unnamed members of the group.

The note, said to be on the back of a production document for Big Brother?s Little Brother, states: ?Some dodgy clips DO exist. We are f***ed.?

Hertfordshire Police have apparently been shown the note anonymously and have now asked producers for clips of the alleged incident.

"It's an important document and one the police are taking very seriously," a source explained. "If those clips do exist the programme makers would have hell to pay."

The force said it had "some further information which we will be looking into as part of our ongoing investigation".

However, a Channel 4 spokeswoman commented: ?The producers have checked the editorial log and assured us there is no evidence of the word alleged in the note ever being used by any of the housemates.?
