Jade Goody "hated" time in rehab

Jade Goody has told friends that she "hated" her time in the Priory clinic.

The 25-year-old originally intended to spend weeks in rehab after admitting that she is suffering from stress and depression following her controversial stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house. However, she checked out after just five days - deciding that she could only cope with private consultations as a day patient.

A source told the News of the World: "Jade hated it there. She said, ?This is worse than Big Brother, I'm going through hell.' She knew she badly needed help and the doctors were brilliant but she couldn't stand the regime.

"And she didn't like being confined so soon after leaving Big Brother. She kept saying, ?I need space, I need space.' The biggest problem was the group sessions. She felt very uncomfortable talking about her feelings with strangers.

"After the second one she said, 'This is doing my head in - I can't do it any more. I hate telling everyone what is ****ing me up.' She was utterly bewildered by what was going on. She was saying, 'I feel like a complete nutcase'."
