The former pop star was accused of racist bullying over her treatment of Shilpa Shetty during the series and says she has faced death threats since she left. She told The Daily Star she has come close to suicide and still will not stay at her house alone.
"This is the lowest I've ever been," revealed O'Meara. "I thought about ending it but knew I couldn't do that to the people who love me.
"The first thing the Big Brother producers said after I was evicted was that I'd got death threats. I was absolutely terrified. I checked into a hotel and had my mum and my friend Cindy with me.
"Going back home was hard. It didn't feel like mine. But I can't be on my own. Cindy's been with me the whole time. I don't actually think it's possible for there to be any more tears left in me."
O'Meara said she had spoken to Jermaine Jackson and Cleo Rocos since the show but no other housemates.
