Lloyd accepts apology over sex story

Danielle Lloyd has accepted an apology from the Daily Star Sunday newspaper over its claims that she had a "sex romp" in a nightclub.
The Celebrity Big Brother star objected to a report in the tabloid which alleged that she got intimate in a changing room with a DJ she had just met. The newspaper also claimed that there was a video of the incident.
Her lawyer told the High Court yesterday: "The allegations are entirely false. The incident simply did not happen."
He added: "The publication of this false article has caused hurt, embarrassment and distress to the claimant."
Express Newspapers, who own the tabloid, acknowledged that the allegations should not have been printed and agreed to pay Lloyd's legal costs, as well as making a donation to her chosen charity, The Linda McCartney Memorial Trust.
