Friend discusses Chantelle's love split

Chantelle and Preston decided to split following arguments which focused on Chantelle's declining public profile, according to a report.
A friend of the pair has claimed that Chantelle has struggled to find work in recent months, which resulted in friction between her and the Ordinary Boys singer.
The pal told the Daily Star: "Big Brother killed the romance and the marriage when the fame and adulation vanished. Chantelle could not cope with being out of the limelight and not in demand any more.
"She started out as a Paris Hilton lookalike and she became a star in her own right. But, unlike Paris, she couldn't keep the publicity ball rolling and had virtually disappeared from the celebrity radar.
"That caused no end of friction between her and Preston. He still has his band and his music. She has virtually nothing left to do."
Chantelle met Preston on the 2006 series of Celebrity Big Brother. They tied the knot in August last year.
