Jade Goody ditches pet dog

Jade Goody has decided to get rid of her labrador puppy after realising that she will never be able to control it.

The Big Brother star purchased the dog as a present for her two children in February, but was horrified by the damage that the unruly pet soon started causing to her £500,000 home. Following failed attempts to tame the pooch, named Jasper, Goody has finally admitted defeat and sent him to the kennels.

A friend told the Daily Star Sunday: "She's given him her best try but has given up. Jasper was an absolute nightmare - he just didn't calm down. Furniture has been damaged and he poos everywhere. He just hasn't taken to house training at all.

"They all really loved Jasper but just had to admit they didn't have the time or the patience to tame him. It looks like he will be in kennels until he gets a new owner."
