Jade Goody signs up for acting classes

Jade Goody has revealed that she has signed up for acting lessons in the US.

The reality TV star has paid £2,400 for 12 weeks' worth of classes at the Lee Strasberg school in New York. Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Marilyn Monroe were all trained at the school before launching their acting careers.

Goody told Closer magazine: "I'm going to acting school in New York and I've producers in LA with a role for me."

Jade - who recently claimed that she was worried about paying the bills, after losing work in the aftermath of Celebrity Big Brother - has also enrolled her two children for acting classes at the Sylvia Young theatre school in London.
