Jade Goody in Bono mix-up

Jade Goody failed to recognise U2's Bono after he introduced himself to her in a pub.

Friends of the Big Brother star had to explain to her who the Irish rocker was after he came over to her in a Dublin bar.

The frontman reportedly said: "Hi Jade, how are you?"

Goody told The Sun: "I didn’t know who he was. I knew he did loads for Live Aid, but that’s all."

The reality TV star claims that she was able to recognise another Irish singer - Westlife's Shane Filan - but admits she upset him by putting on an Irish accent.

She said: "He told me they stick up for me. I thanked him in my best Irish accent. He wasn’t impressed."
