Jade Goody claims 'Big Brother' is dead

Controversial Big Brother star Jade Goody has declared that the show is dead.

Goody, who caused an international uproar with her treatment of Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother last year, claimed that fans are now desperate for her to return to the house.

However, she insisted that she would not be willing to star on the show for a third time and admitted that she has not been watching Celebrity Hijack.

"Sorry, but that show is over," Goody told the Daily Star.

"It's just over. I'm done with it," she continued. "But it's funny isn't it, a year ago people were shouting: 'Get Jade out.' Now they're shouting: 'Get Jade in.' So I have to say thank you but no, it's not for me. I'm done with the show. I haven't watched a minute of this series."

Big Brother 7 winner Pete Bennett also recently admitted that he was no longer a fan of the show. He said that the Jade-Shilpa race row, as well as the use of racist language in Big Brother 8, had put him off the programme for good.
