Chantelle: 'I don't want to look orange'

Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has claimed that she doesn't like looking orange with fake tan.

Houghton admitted to regularly using sunbeds and argued that she couldn't get a natural tan without going on holiday.

She said her divorce from Ordinary Boys singer Samuel Preston had knocked her confidence and that she uses extra make-up as a "barrier".

She told Heat: "I think it's all part of the cover-up for me at the moment. All the make-up is a barrier. I don't want to be orange, but I need to go on holiday to get a natural tan.

"I know I look really orange now, but I'd rather be orange than really pale."

Talking about her time with Preston, she added: "I wasn't allowed on a sunbed - and if I did, all hell would break loose. In the end, it was such an ordeal! I just didn't bother.

"I felt as if I wasn't allowed my make-up and my fake tan."
