CBB Diary Room chair up for auction

The Diary Room chair used in Celebrity Big Brother 5 has been put up for auction.

Fans of the series can bid for the item on the Buy Once Give Twice website. Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Get Connected charity.

Get Connected provides a telephone helpline for young people who find themselves in difficult situations. The auction ends on May 2.

A message describing the chair reads: "This is the Big Brother Chair, as used by some of the country's leading contemporary cultural and intellectual icons.

"It's where the likes of Jade [Goody], Shilpa [Shetty], Leo [Sayer], Ken [Russell] and a host of other folk placed their nether regions whilst confessing their innermost secrets and opinions on camera."

The chair was also used on Big Brother 7, which was won by Pete Bennett.
